TRANSAUDIO GROUP COMPLETES NATIONAL SALES/SUPPORT TEAM COVERAGE

TransAudio_DavidSealLAS VEGAS, NEVADA – JUNE 2016: TransAudio Group, a US Distributor active in both the Pro Audio Recording Vertical market and the Consumer Audio market, has hired David Seal to serve as Business Development Manager, Eastern Region. The appointment completes TransAudio Group’s goal of complete coast-to-coast sales force coverage. In the newly-created position, Seal will develop and manage business with key accounts east of the Mississippi, such as Sweetwater Sound, Vintage King Audio in Detroit & Nashville, and Alto Music in New York & Brooklyn and forge relationships with dealers new to TransAudio’s impressive list of manufacturers including ATC, Drawmer, Daking, Subwoofer Pro, Bettermaker, Tube Tech, A-Designs, Auratone and others. In addition, Seal will engage in TransAudio Group’s value-added activities, such as product support, training, and marketing with recording facilities and key end users in the Midwest and East. Seal will operate out of Chicago, and Zach Winterfeld, located in Los Angeles, will perform the same duties for all accounts west of the Mississippi.

 

An accomplished guitarist, live audio engineer, luthier, sales professional, and IT professional, Seal brings a breadth and depth of experiences to the position. For the past seven years, he has separately served as Regional Sales Manager for D’Angelico Guitars and Line 6, where he cultivated many of the relationships that will facilitate his work with TransAudio Group. His other activities extend back nearly thirty years and include custom guitar construction with Kramer for endorsement artists including Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Steve Miller, tour management, guitar teching, and audio engineering for artists including Steve Morse, Dixie Dregs, Kansas, and Blue Oyster Cult, and a four-year stint as Director of IT for the Consumer Health Sciences division of Grey Healthcare Group.
