NASHVILLE, TN: Located on Nashville’s famed Music Row, Sound Stage Studio has been the home to world famous artists, engineers and producers for more than thirty years. After falling under the new ownership of Black River Entertainment, 2011 became the year to upgrade the infamous Front Stage Studio and give it a face lift that the veteran room deserved. Warren Rhoades, Mike LeBlanc and legendary recording engineer Chuck Ainlay redesigned the studio to make Front Stage sonically superior and comfortable to work in. Interior designer Markeata Daniels was commissioned to complement the state of the art facilities with a unique and creative vibe. Under their supervision, when it came time to select the main monitors for the newly designed room, the choice was obvious: ATC 300s.

“After the much success we have had with our ATC 300s in Back Stage over the years, we knew Front Stage wouldn’t be complete without them.” says Nick Autry, General Manager. “Since re-opening for business we’ve had so many complements about the look, sound and comfort of the room. Having ATC speakers in there took it over the top and into another class.”

Recently purchased by Black River Entertainment, Sound Stage is continuing the tradition of excellence that began nearly four decades ago. Founded in 1975, more than 500 number one singles have been cut at Sound Stage. In addition, the number of albums sold, recorded at Sound Stage, is well into the hundreds of millions. Recent clients have included, George Strait, Lionel Richie, Easton Corbin, blues legend Joe Louis Walker, and reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert. In addition to its Front Stage room, the facility also houses two additional studios, Back Stage and Drive Through, as well a separate, fully equipped digital editing suite.
