Drum Groove by Tim Horsley
Tim is a professional drummer who has been touring and recording out of Nashville, TN since 1998. His performance credits include Gary Allan, Suzy Bogguss, Deanna Carter, Jamie O'Neal, James Otto and Keith Urban. Chris Granger, an audio engineer in Nashville, introduced him to Daking products when he transformed his snare drum sound into a slamming piece of sonic art with the Daking mic pre/eq. Tim has been a fan ever since.
The audio example is 3 passes of Tim's Spaun maple custom kit. The Daking is used on the floor tom loop for the first pass. The second pass is a world groove on the toms with the Daking on the kick drum. The final pass is a backbeat (ala Steve Jordan) with the Daking on the 13" snare drum.
