LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – JANUARY 2011: TransAudio Group, U.S. distributor of Drawmer, introduces the new Drawmer 4x4R Active Signal Splitter at this year’s NAMM show (January 13-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center), Booth #6945.

The 4x4R offers four inputs, each switchable between a mic and line. Each of four input sections offers a six LED meter, 48v phantom switch, 66 dB of mic gain and a “listen” function to monitor any of the four input sections through the front panel headphone amp. In addition, each input section can be linked to the adjacent input section offering four different input to output options: 4×4, 3×12 +1×4, 2×8 or 1×16. Optional transformer isolation is available. A painstakingly designed signal path, compact size in 1 RU form factor, along with quality construction, make this the perfect tool for a portable live sound rig or a fixed installation that requires multiple outputs from a few inputs. Like the fully portable Drawmer KickBox with identical features, the 4x4R is very easy to use.

“The 4x4R is really about flexibility and changing needs. When you need to split inputs to multiple outputs without sacrificing quality, it’s the perfect solution,” said Brad Lunde, president of TransAudio Group. “Broadcast users may use the KickBox for press splits, but the 4x4R is ideal for rental or live sound use.”
