MIAMI, Florida - January 2009 -- Perhaps best known for his ten-year role as R&B/hip-hop producer Timbaland's main go-to mixer/engineer, Jimmy Douglass has engineered, mixed and/or produced a truly impressive roster of talent over the past several decades, ranging from classic artists like Aretha Franklin, Foreigner, and The Rolling Stones to contemporaries like Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, and Justin Timberlake.

"I've literally put them across just about everything I've engineered and mixed in one facet or another over the past three months," he says. "They're great for drums, especially kicks and snares, as well as really nice on both vocals and guitars. The EM-PEQs are very realistic and clear, yet add a nice warmth that does, indeed, truly remind me of the Pultec, but for a fraction of the price one would pay for an original EQP-1A."
