DRAWMER
1961 2 channel mastering tube EQ

This unit has twelve active tube stages, with a variable input
level controls so the user can decide how hard to hit the tubes.
Each channel has four overlapping bands of EQ, plus variable high
pass and low pass filters with switchable bypass.
Insiders say: This is a great unit for "sweetening",
"smoothing", "warming" or "softening"
your digital recordings.
It's also a fantastic addition to the 1969 for a two channel "tube
mixer."

George
Massenburg's knowledge of the characteristics of sound and
engineering has made him one of the seminal engineers of our time.
His extreme scrutinization of every detail carries over from his
work as a mastering and recording engineer into his work as a
designer of musical equipment that can no longer be described
in the realm of "specifications." The inventor
of the Parametric EQ, George has continued to hone his skills
as designer and engineer
over the last several decades and has created product that defies
verbal definition. It has to be heard to be believed.
The
Model 2020 is a single-channel input processor
and accepts either microphone or line-level signals with phase
reversal and phantom power switches. The equalization, dynamics,
and sidechain sections allow for flexible routing to accommodate
any recording situation. Like all GML equipment, it is constructed
of all discrete-transistor, balanced/symmetrical class-A components
and delivers wide-bandwidth, low-noise, extended dynamic range,
and an extremely high slew-rate.
"We designed the Model 2020 based on the 8300 preamplifier,
8200 parametric equalizer, and 8900 dynamics processor. The designs
are the result of decades of research, prototyping, manufacturing,
and subsequent alterations in our enduring drive towards engineering
completely transparent audio processing. We conceived of the Model
2020 in response to the growing trend in 'front-end' processing,
where a premium is placed on signal processing before the signal
hits tape or, more often, hard disk. Because such uses often call
for only a channel or two at a time, there's a need for processing
power that's long on features (such as preamplification, equalization,
and dynamics processing) and short on channels. It's a balance
between use, features, and price point, and the Model 2020 fits
the niche perfectly."

New
For 2004!
GML's renowned transparency, reliability, musicality, and precision
at a more affordable price!

George Massenburg Labs is introducing the all-new GML
2032 mic preamplifier and parametric equalizer. Heir to
thirty years of analog engineering expertise, the Model 2032 boasts
discrete class A design in a single rack space unit and provides
an elegant front end solution for recordists. And, for the first
time in GML history, the 2032 features an ultra-low-noise internal
AC power supply.
Insiders say:
Short on price and long on sound. This is the best bargain you
will see all year.
GML 8200

The 8200 has been a studio standard
for more than 20 years.
A two channel 5 band parametric equalizer, it is the masterpiece
of the inventor of parametric equalization, and the archetype
for stereo EQ. Its extraordinary resolution, benchmark transparency,
generous headroom, and surgical precision have been the reference
for many other equalizers, but exceeded by no other.
It requires one 8355 power supply.
Insiders say:
What CAN we say? It is THE standard for recording analog or digital.
Geoff Daking

In Daking,
we have found a manufacturer following in the tradition of the
great console manufacturers like Tident, Neve and API. Geoff Daking,
long a premier name in the recording industry, has used his extensive
experience in recording and studio setup to create a line of studio
products whose sound quality and workmanship are second to none.
Factor in their reasonable cost and Daking's excellent product
support, and you have a value unmatched in the pro audio industry
today.
